The Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe, on Friday narrated how a young man abandoned his laptop at a police station and did not come back after he was told to produce the receipt of the item.
Edafe disclosed this on his Twitter handle while responding to the tweet of a man who alleged that policemen from the Kwale Division collected a laptop from a young man and told him to come to the station with the receipt to collect the item.

The man, whose Twitter handle is @Popstroke4 disclosed in his tweets that the policemen stopped the young man, who he said is a corps member, collected his laptop and asked him to produce the receipt of the item.

Responding to the tweets, Edafe said available information at his disposal indicated that the policemen from the station collected the laptop from him and asked him to produce the receipt.
Edafe added that the young man abandoned the laptop at the station and did not come back, warning the man who wrote the tweet to stop accusing policemen of stealing.
