The report coming in from Benin, the capital of Edo state has it that some group of herdsmen were caught with some sophisticated weapons that include local guns, machets, knives among other dangerous weapons. 

The syndicate numbering about three including an elderly man were apprehended today being the 8th of February 2021. 

The Herdsmen were caught by a combine effort of the community vigilantee. The video of the suspects being paraded is currently making the rounds on social media. 

The precise location where the herders were caught was not stated on the video. 

People who were around the community where the arrest was made kept trooping in to get a glimpse of the suspected herders.

I am wondering what people that are supposed to be taking care of their cattles are now roaming with these kind of weapons herdsmen. 

I hope the appropriate authorities will do a proper investigation about the suspects and know their mission. If indeed they are responsible for the killing that is happening in the country, they should be prosecuted.
