The current battle between Herdsmen and Southerners have taken another dramatic turn as a Bandit was arrested in Oyo State. In the early hours of today, a notorious Fulani Bandit was captured in a forest in Oyo State. Wakili, the arrested bandit is known to be a dominant force in the South over the years.
This is a great development towards putting an end to terrorism in the SouthWest. The Western Security System would welcome this improvement and hope they can improve on it. However, the South East needs to consider taking this same approach in solving the Herdsmen crisis in the region.
A couple of weeks ago, Hope Uzodinma, Governor of Imo State invited Soldiers to help annihilate the activities of IPOB in the State. This approach was heavily criticised by Influential people across the country.
