Pastor Giwa lamented that these few people presently control everything in Nigeria, including a vast array of resources that bind the country together.
Buhari Appoints New Special Envoy

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Babagana Kingibe as his special envoy to Chad and the Lake Chad Basin region.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this in a statement he issued on Monday in Abuja.
“He will collaborate with member countries and partners in the region with similar initiatives to restore stability, promote peace and security,” the statement said.

Edwin Clark Speaks

Chief Edwin Clark, National Leader, Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum (SMBLF), has supported clamour for the Southern Nigeria to produce the President in 2023.
He said this in Abuja, at an expanded meeting of the forum with the theme, “State of the Nation and Preparations toward 2023 General Elections”.
Clark, also an Ijaw Leader and Elder Statesman, said it was imperative for the south to produce the next President of Nigeria to guard against marginalisation.
Ohanaeze Sends Message To Buhari

Leaders of major ethnic nationalities in Nigeria yesterday urged President Muhammadu Buhari to wake up to his responsibilities, warning that the nation is currently on the precipice.
While Pan Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, through its National Leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, called for total overhaul of the present 1999 constitution which it said was “tilted in favour of the North against the South”, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, through its President General, Prof. George Obiozor, said there was need to re-negotiate Nigeria’s unity.
The two regional groups tabled their grievances and also proffered solutions to some of the existential problems facing the nation, at an event.
