Before you travel it is very important you pray to God for a safe journey to your destination.
There was a report of a ghastly motor accident involving two vehicles along the East-West road that collided around the Sampou junction section of the road.
An eye witness report said the incident occurred as one of vehicle which was on high speed had its tyre busted when it was coming from Ughelli, Delta State while the other Sienna was coming from Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
No report of death has been confirmed at the moment as all the victims were said to have been rushed to the nearby Referral hospital at Kaiama, Kolokuma Opokoma LGA in Bayelsa State.
The East-west which connects the 6 Southern States of Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Edo States to other parts of the country has been having its own share of problems. The axis around Bayelsa are still uncompleted, thereby leaving motorists to be using only one section of the road.
