The match was a hard-fought win for Chelsea as Edouard Mendy came to their rescue on several occasions. The Senegal International made six saves as he registered his fourth clean sheet in the Premier League this season.

Thanks to Ben Chilwell's first-half strike that helped Chelsea win today's game as they retained their place on top of the Premier League table.

So here is the incident that happened between Azpilicueta and Mendy today:

In the second half of the match, Mendy's had his boot's lace untied and it was Azpilicueta that stepped up to help the Chelsea shot-stopper to tie it back.

Azpilicueta didn't show any form of remorse while performing the act which shows that the Chelsea defender is humble and he's a good leader.

Apart from being the club's captain, Azpillicueta (32) is three years older than Mendy (29) and he's the current long-serving player at the club. But the Spaniard didn't allow those things that other players will be proud about to get into his head as he bends down to help Mendy correct the situation which thrilled the fans at the Brentford Community Stadium.

No wonder Azpilicueta captained Chelsea to the Champions League success last season and the UEFA Super Cup triumph at the beginning of the season alongside Mendy and what he did to Mendy today will establish an extra bond between them and the rest of the team.

So, every Premier League captain should emulate this morality of leadership of Azpilicueta as it will improve their relationship with every one of their teammates as a stronger bond will be created in the process.
