Super Eagles star came off the bench to net a late minute winner in his team 2-1 away league victory

Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Paul Onuachu was in action yesterday for KRC Genk in their 7th game of the Belgian Pro League against St. Truiden at the Staaien.

The Nigerian star started the game from the bench due to tactical reason but was introduced in the 60th minute for Ike Ugbo and he was able to shine, as he came off the bench to net the winner which sealed the whole three points of the game for his side.

Paul Onuachu continues his impressive run of form after coming on into the game with his clinical touches and master-class performance which was instrumental in the crucial away win.

The host took the lead in the late minute to the end of the first half with a goal from Yuma Suzuki in the 45+3 minutes to make it one nil going into the half time break.

The visitor in the second half stepped up their game as they displayed some dazzling skills and as such got an equaliser in the 73rd minute with a goal from Joseph Paintsil, before Paul Onuachu sealed the deserved win for his side in the 83rd minute to make it two goals to one at full time.

The win for KRC Genk in the game has now taken them to the 3rd spot on the table with 14 points in 7 games played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture.
