Meet ex-Super Eagles star who married a gorgeous bodybuilding champion

The name Danny Shittu certainly rings a bell to many Super Eagles fans and the English Premier League followers.

Shittu who played for Watford in the Premier League and other Championship teama, Queens Park Rangers and Millwall before he quit active football made 346 appearances in the Premier League and Football League, including 190 for QPR. 

Center back who won the 2010-2011 Football League Championship with Queens Park Rangers.

The 6ft 3ins tall and hunk defender was rock-solid in the Super Eagles defence. Shittu made his international debut for Nigeria against Paraguay on 26 March 2002, coming on as a second half substitute, in a 1–1 draw.

In his 16-year-long playing career, Shittu played 32 games for Nigeria between 2000 and 2010.

It was sad not to see him feature for the Super Eagles in the AFCON 2013 which Nigeria ended up winning, for Club versus Country reason. In January 2013, Shittu joined the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations tournament. 

However, the club were unwilling to let Shittu joined up the side for the tournament and because of this, Millwall would face sanctions as a result. Eventually, Shittu was dropped out the squad following the 23–man released by late Coach Stephen Keshi.

Family & Lifestyle

Shittu, 40, who is a father of five kids is dating a gorgeous lady who is a natural bodybuilder and a champion in the sport.

In 2019, she won in an event in the annual British Natural Bodybuilding Federation (BNBF) Championship.

After he quit football, he became a licensed football agent and motivational speaker.
