A football coach is to call the shots on the team but it can be frustrating when a board who buys and sells players go against the demand of the coach. When things do not go rightly, the coach takes the blame, so I think it is just fair then for the board to give the coach what he wants.
Olympics Marseille are going through a not-too-good season, this is obvious in their performances as they are 9th in the table, played 20 games and earned 32 points. Things may go more worse as the club may lose their coach, Andre Villas-Boas.
The former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs coach had told the club not to sign Celtics midfielder Oliver Ntcham but the club went ahead and signed the 24-year-old Frenchman on loan.
The displeased 43-year-old Villas-Boas has now tendered his resignation letter asking to leave the French Club simply because they brought in the Frenchman. Newcastle wanted Ntcham but he eventually landed in Marseille.
Do you think Villas-Boas was right to feel disappointed or the club are free to call the shots on the players that come and go?
