3 Things Affecting Manchester United's Performances

After Manchester United completed the signing of some top players, many fans have predicted that the Red Devils would win the Premier League, but there are some reasons they might not win the Premier League.

(1)Too Much Hype

After the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho, many fans continued to post on the social media that the Reds would definitely win the Premier League, but this might effect the team's performance negatively (or positively).

Due to the hype surrounding the team, the players would want to end the season in the 1st, 2nd, of the 3rd position in the league, this is a very hard target to reach.

(2)Too Many Players Playing The Same Position

Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho were bought as soon as the club complete their transfers, but originally these two players play in the same position which is the Left Winger, but Ronaldo is able to play as a center-forward.

Since the club started the season along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho, Sancho has been as playing a right-winger, but Marcus Rashford who is currently injured and a left-winger would be resuming very soon. These overpopulation would affect the team in a way because the only way to play all the three players is by playing Sancho as right-winger, Marcus would play as a left-winger, and Ronaldo would play as a center-forward.

(3)Role Confirmation

During Manchester United's last Premier League match which was against Aston Villa, they lost 1:0, but the team had a chance to level the match during the last minutes due to a penalty that the referee awarded them. Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes approached the box and had a debate on who should take the penalty, Bruno eventually took it and lost it.

The debate concerning this action is that the coach should have picked his 1st penalty taker and 2nd penalty taker before the team had a match. This is the job of a coach and is something he should have handled before the team played any match.

If things like this continues, the team would be affected a lot because if a permanent penalty taker had been chosen before the match, the player would have had enough confidence to take the shot.
