Transfer News: City Prepare €60m Bid For Min-Jae, Liverpool Reach Agreement With Brighton For Alexis

Manchester City prepare €60m bid for Min-Jae

According to 90min, Manchester City are readying a bid in the range of €60m for Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae for the next transfer window.

Min-Jae has been one of Napoli's standout performers and helped them win their third league title. As per the report, even Manchester United is preparing a bid for the South Korean centre-back.

Liverpool reach agreement with Brighton for Mac Allister

According to English publication GOAL , Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion Albion have reached a verbal agreement with each other regarding a summer transfer of Alexis Mac Allister.

The Argentine ace was part of the squad that won the FIFA World Cup last year. At 24, he isn’t just experienced in the Premier League but is a consistent performer who can fit right into the Reds’ midfield.

A bundle of energy, he will bring much enthusiasm and drive to the Liverpool midfield. The Reds’ roster in the middle of the park has been found wanting several times this season and Mac Allister would help stem those concerns.

Smith Rowe could make way at Arsenal this summer

Arsenal's Emile Smith Rowe could leave this summer in order to raise transfer funds, according to The Sun.

Smith Rowe, who has made just 13 appearances for Arsenal this term, is reportedly attracting interest from West Ham and Aston Villa.

Guardiola hints at Gundogan stay

Pep Guardiola has suggested he wants Ilkay Gundogan to stay at Manchester City and sign a new contract.

The Germany international, who was instrumental in their 2-1 win over Leeds with both goals – but missed a penalty – sees his current deal expire on June 30.

“The club is involved in that. The club knows my opinion but the club is above me,” Guardiola said.

“We will do it together. The decisions we always take together, whether good or bad.

“Gundo scored two goals, how good he played today, reading the spaces… he has everything; incredible run in the final third, how intelligent he is.

“It wasn’t necessary today to play so well and score two goals to know exactly how I like this player, how I enjoyed all this time working with him, and how I would like to work with him again in the future.”
