Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta needs to match his ego with his performance, because it is ruining the team and his relationship with the players. He shut out Mesut Ozil, William Saliba, Matteo Guendouzi, Gabriel Martinelli and now Ainsley Maitland-Niles, this confirms how bad he is at man management. He has a very big ego for a clueless and incompetent manager and it's fast sinking the club.
Both the fans and the players are beginning to notice it, the club is fast falling apart, and Arteta's ego is one of the major reasons. On Tuesday 31 August, he banished Maitland-Niles from training with the first team, all because he took to his social media, to appeal to the club to let him go to where he is wanted. A manager with good man management, would not have have taken that route, rather find a better way to resolve things, maybe he should take a clue from Liverpool's manager, Jurgen Klopp.
Arteta's ego has done more damage to the club and the dressing room more than anybody in the past 20 years. For someone who is yet to accomplish anything as a manager, which he never did as a player, his EGO is terrible. Also, whatever made Maitland-Niles to boldly put out such post, simply shows that Mikel Arteta has lost the dressing room and the situation is now beyond repair.
