According to reports, Lionel Messi's current contract with Barcelona will expire this summer but with the way things are going over the past few months, there are high chances that Lionel Messi might sign a new deal.
Last summer when he announced he wanted to leave Barcelona and search for greener pastures in another club, it was a big problem as it lead to the sacking of former Barcelona president and his board of directors.
Although, Lionel Messi is yet to extend his deal with Barcelona but since he helped Barcelona win Copa Del Rey triumph, things changed and I believe, his mind to leave Barcelona might have changed as well.
With that been said, let's take a look at five reasons why Lionel Messi will stay at Barcelona.
Fifth reason is that Lionel Messi should be happy now that old problems are more or less gone as Josep Maria Bartomeu and co. resigned and left the office.
Fourth reason is that Barcelona players are gradually improving on the pitch and they are now giving out amazing results.
Third reason is that Lionel Messi can captain and nurture Barcelona players very well than any other player in the club.
Second reason is that Lionel Messi can be a great legacy at Barcelona and will make a great role model in which new generations of Barcelona players can follow.
First reason is that Barcelona new President Joan Laporta is beginning to have a good relationship with Lionel Messi.
Do you think it's wise for Lionel Messi to remain in Barcelona or should he leave Barcelona and have a new experience in other clubs?
