Dortmund Rejects Chelsea bid for Erling Haarland
After winning the champions league as underdogs, Chelsea are looking forward to bolster their attacks with the signing of Erling Haarland.
The Norwegian superstar blew up the Bundesliga last season scoring 27 goals in just 28 league matches. Haaland netted 10 goals in only eight UEFA Champions League matches last season for Borussia Dortmund making him one of the hottest properties in European football.
Thomas Tuchel's Blues, Guardiola, and Real Madrid are all keen on bringing in Haaland to secure guaranteed goals for the upcoming campaign. Whoever the striker joins will be an early influence on at least one of the European title races this summer.
With Chelsea's interest in Haaland stepping up in the last few days, early on Tuesday morning news that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic released €175m (£150m) for the club to approach Dortmund with a bid.
During the training session of preseason and immediately when a reporter appeared, he asked Haaland: “Are you staying at Borussia Dortmund?” Haaland simply smiled and said nothing.
Looking so keen, will the 20-year-old end up at Stamford Bridge come the end of August...
