Barcelona will host Real Madrid at the Camp Nou this weekend in the first El Clasico of the season. As we all know, Barca will be without Ousmane Dembele for the clash, but Sergio Aguero may feature after his back-to-back cameo appearances against Valencia and Dynamo Kiev in the midweek Champions League game.
For the past 2 seasons, Barcelona has not beaten Real Madrid in LaLiga, with the Catalan giants' last victory over the Madrid giants coming in 2019. Sunday's encounter will be the biggest test yet for Ronald Koeman after a rough start to the season, that saw Barca seat below the Top 4 position in LaLiga.
Heading into the clash, I will be presenting my best Barca XI for the upcoming Clasico.
Here is what it looks like (4-3-3);
GK: Ter Stegan;
LB: Jordi Alba;
CB: Gerard Pique;
CB: Eric Garcia;
RB: Oscar Mingueza;
MF: Sergio Busquets;
MF: De Jong;
LWF: Ansu Fati;
RWF: Sergino Dest;
FW: Memphis Depay.
It's quite possible that Ronald Koeman might go with this line-up, but the big question is whether Jordi Alba will be fit to feature in the game. Sergio Aguero on the other hand could come in from the bench.
