Super Eagles star Taiwo Awoniyi continues his impressive run of form for German Bundesliga giants Union Berlin FC, as he netted brace in their 4-0 away victory over KuPs football club of Finland in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday.
The former Mainz 05 FC star retained his spot in the away team's first eleven, following his impressive performance in his team's last game, and he was able to shine again.
The away team break the deadlock through a classic goal from Taiwo Awoniyi in the 7th minutes after receiving an assist from Oztunali, and Max Kruse doubled the lead in the 29th minutes, before Taiwo Awoniyi netted again in the 31st minutes to end the first half 3-0.
The Nigerian star would have completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minutes, but his effort was saved by the home team's goalkeeper Johannes Kreidi, before substitute Voglsoammer scored the last goal of the game in the 90th minutes to end the match ended 4-0.
Taiwo Awoniyi's brace means he has now netted three goals and an assist in his last two matches for Union Berlin FC.
The Nigerian international will now be looking forward to continuing his impressive performance when they play their next game this weekend.
