Rivers United striker, Sunday Adetunji, is putting Sunday's Nigeria Professional Football League disappointing barren home draw with Abia Warriors to focus on midweek trip to Kwara United.
The Stanley Eguma's team were highly favoured to carry the day, but failed to make the most of home advantage during the match day 22 encounter that ended goalless at Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt.
In a tweet on Monday, Adetunji, who scored two goals for the former continental campaigners, regretted the outcome of the match, but stated that the team will regroup and focus on Wednesday's clash with Kwara United set for Kwara Sports Complex in Ilorin, capital of Kwara State.
"We dropped home points for the first time this season, disappointing but we will regroup and focus on Wednesday at Kwara United," stated the 23 years old former Enyimba and Lobi Stars player who joined the club in April from Plateau United.
The result saw Rivers United drop from fourth to fifth in the standings with 39 points, just two points adrift of leaders, Kano Pillars.
