Chelsea are looking like the true title contenders after putting up an impressive performance against Brentford fc on Saturday evening. Chelsea managed to hold on to Chilwell's early 1-0 lead till the final whistle. Mendy, Christensen, Malang Sarr, Chilwell and Chalobah all played a major role in Chelsea's victory yesterday. However, Chelsea are currently sitting at the first position in the Premier League table and if the league were to end now, the Blues will be crowned Champions. But that's not being realistic.
Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are still in race to win the Premier League title. These big 4 four mentioned above would definitely make things very difficult for Chelsea this season. Liverpool haven't lost a single game in the Premier League since the season started. They are occupying the second position, with just a point differentiating them from Chelsea who are the league leaders with 18 points.Man City are also behind with just 2 points separating them from Chelsea. City handed Chelsea their first EPL defeat at Stamford Bridge earlier last month, and the chances of them winning at the Etihad Stadium in the 2nd-Leg is quite higher.
Manchester United in the other hand haven't been in their best since the start of the 2021-22 campaign. But despite performing very poorly in the recent EPL games, the Red Devils might still make things a bit difficult for Chelsea when they meet them in November.
