Liverpool are currently at the top of the Premier League table after their Impressive performance against Watford City this afternoon. Goals from Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohammed Salah fired the Reds back at the League top where they belong.
Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are now at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spot in the table, though none of these teams I mentioned above have played today. Man United will be facing a tough side Leicester city at away and even if they manage to win, they'll still remain under Liverpool. This is the same case with Manchester City who might win their game against Burnley. If City wins, they will be having 17 points and will also be under Liverpool
The Only team capable of displacing Liverpool from that first position is Chelsea, but Thomas Tuchel's side are faced with a strong team which is Brentford. Thomas Frank's Brentford haven't lost a single game in EPL since the start of the 2021-22 campaign. They have played against 3 top teams in EPL and only drew to Liverpool. The chances of Brentford dropping points to Chelsea are slim and this might help Liverpool remain at the top of the table.
