Another round of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers was played last night. In group H, Croatia and Slovakia faced each other in their 8th group fixture. The game ended 2-2 leaving Croatia with 17 points and Slovakia with 10 points.
Ivan scored first for Slovakia in the 20th minute. Few minutes later, Kramaric equalized for Croatia. However, Slovakia took the lead again before the first half ended.
Luka Modric does not seem to look tired in any way as he played another 90 minutes of Football last night. His Freekick has now set a new record in the ongoing European World Cup qualifiers. At the age of 36, Modric is now the oldest player to a free kick. The most amazing thing is that this is Modric first attempt in the Qualifiers.
