REPORTS: Manchester United midfielder already arranging transfer deal to join Real Madrid

Without any doubts, Manchester United football club were one of the few active Premier League sides during the summer transfer window before it was shut in September.

The Red Devils remain hellbent on winning their first trophy under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and have splashed the cash to sign Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo during the summer.

However, that has not quite gone to plan just yet as Manchester United are currently sitted in 7th position on the Premier League table, following their shambolic 5-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday evening.

Coupled with that disappointing start to the season, Manchester United could now be rocked with reports that central midfielder Donny van de Beek is now set to leave the club.

The 24-year-old Netherlands International, who joined Manchester United after leaving Eredivisie side Ajax in 2020 has been in and out of the first-team ever since.

The young central midfielder was fairly involved during the 2020/2021 season where he scored one goal and created two assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.

However, Donny van de Beek has been rooted to the bench so far this season, making just three appearances in all competitions for Manchester United.

It is believed that the young midfielder is disappointed with his lack of regular game time and according to reports from The Sun, he is already planning a transfer move away.

Reports from The Sun further claimed that Donny van de Beek has asked his agents to begin talks with Real Madrid over a transfer move when the transfer window opens.

That said, it remains to be seen if Donny van de Beek will have a change of heart and stay at Manchester United or prefer a move away from Old Trafford next year.
