Manchester United is a club that has a deep pool of players to select from. The problem with this is that they also have many quality players who could have easily started to other teams, warming the bench and practically not being helpful at the club. These are some of these players.
1. Eric Bailly.
Bailly arrived at Manchester United in 2016 and was tipped to become one of the best defenders at the club. However a few Injuries later, he is struggling to even make the match day squad. His presence as a substitute shows Manchester United's depth but at the same time limits the player's development. Since his arrival, he has managed to play just 107 games.
Diallo was signed by Manchester United as a future prospect but after a few days at the club, it was almost certain that he wouldn't get any game time. He wasn't sent on loan during his first season and his proposed loan deal this year collapsed due to injury. Something that would have been prevented if they had found a loan for him earlier.
As it stands, he is likely to face another half season without playing any games.
3. Donny Van De Beek.
This was an obvious inclusion on the list as he is one of those players that are clearly wasting away at Manchester United. If he was in arsenal, he would have played every single game, but instead he has been reduced to just 39 appearances since he arrived at Manchester United.
4. Hannibal Mejbri.
Hannibal Mejbri is the best Manchester United youth player, who was due for first team football about a year ago. His mates like Jamal Musiala and Eduardo Camavinga are already regular first team players, while the Tunisian is yet to play up to 5 major games for the club.
5. Anthony Elanga.
This is another Academy prospect who is supposed to have been making a name for himself now. Just like Camavinga, a player of his quality deserves better than what he's having.
