Chelsea football club players not on international duty with their national teams are continuing with their training session at Cobham hoping to get their chances when club football resumes this weekend.
One such player hoping to seize the moment is midfielder Ross Barkley who came up with a brilliant performance in Chelsea last league outing with Southampton before the international break.
Before the season started the midfielder was stripped off his number eight squad number, fans thought his time at the bridge was over but he seems determined to play his way back to the first team.
From all indications he seems to be going about it the right way, as his fitness looks spot on in this latest training session.
If he can cut off some of his out of pitch excesses, then Chelsea might have a player who on his day could be unplayable.
Callum Hudson-Odoi making good use of the international football break.
Other fringe players like Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek will all be desperate to grab this opportunity and become a regular first team choice.
Ngolo Kante is back too
Chelsea will play Brentford immediately after the international break and a win will keep them on top of the English premier league table.
