The 2022 FIFA World Cup is around the corner, as national teams are preparing for a spot in the 32 teams that will be competing for the finals, as there are 8 playing venues and 65 matches to be played. According to gathered information, the opening match of the FIFA World Cup will be played at the AL Bayt Stadium, while the final of the tournament will be played at the Lusail Stadium (The Lusail Stadium is the largest venue with 80,000 seats capacity).
However, some stadiums (venues) are still under construction, as final touches are been made to host one of football most prestigious tournaments.
At this point, it’s still difficult to know the teams that will be representing in various continents as most international teams are yet to conclude their qualifying process. However, Germany are the first country to have booked their spot for next year’s FIFA World Cup besides the host nation Qatar (Germany have won the FIFA World Cup 4 times- 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014) after they won Northern Macedonia 4-0 with two matches to spare in Group J.
