How EPL Top 3 teams could line up after international break.

After the international break, some injured players will be returning to their team's starting XI in the EPL. With this, more firepower will surely be added to these teams.

In this article, we'll be looking at how the possible XI of the current Top 3 teams in EPL could look like when the league restarts.

1. Chelsea Football Club

Expected returnees: Reece James, Pulisic, and Ngolo Kante.

Possible lineup

Thomas Tuchel could continue to use the 4-3-3 formation with Mendy lining up in the goal.

As for the defensive trident, Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva, and Trevor Chalobah could occupy the various positions.

In the midfield, N'Golo Kante and Jorginho could operate as pivots with Reece James and Ben Chilwell playing from the wing-back spots.

In attack, Lukaku ought to keep his place as a center-forward while Pulisic and Kai Havertz play as wingers from the left and right respectively.

2. Liverpool FC

Expected returnee: Trent Alexander-Arnold

Possible lineup

Jurgen Klopp is also expected to stick to his 4-3-3 formation when the league restarts with Alisson Becker an undisputed starter in the goal.

As for the central defensive positions, Matip and Van Dijk could continue to pair while Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold play as full-backs.

In the middle of the park, Naby Keita is expected to start in the defensive midfield role while Curtis Jones and Henderson occupy the other two positions.

As for the front-line, the attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Firmino, and Mo Salah isn't expected to change

Manchester City

Expected returnees: Gundogan, Stones, and Zinchenko.

Pep Guardiola is also expected to keep using his favored '4-3-3' formation with Ederson being the main between the sticks.

John Stones return could see him form a central defensive partnership with Ruben Dias while Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker keep their places as full-backs.

In midfield, Gundogan is likely to start as a central-midfielder while Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri play as an attacking midfielder and a defensive midfielder respectively.

As for the attacking positions, Gabriel Jesus could be used as a center-forward with Jack Grealish and the in-form Ferran Torres playing as wingers.
