Tottenham Beat Newcastle 2-1 To Move To The 7th Spot On The League Table Ahead Arsenal

Tottenham secured a away win as the Saint James Park as they beat Newcastle 3-1 to the 7th spot on the league table for the Europa League qualification.

Heung Son Min broke the deadlock in the 27th minute as he nicely put the ball into the bottom corner of the to give Spurs the lead. Lo celso provided the assist.

Son come close to doubling the lead as he tried an outside shot but Dubravka tipped the ball out for a corner in the 30th minute.

Dwight Gayle comes to getting the equaliser but his header comes off the post in the 42nd minute.

Matt Richie made it level in the 56th minute as he struck the ball with his left foot to get the equaliser for Newcastle.

Harry Kane scored in the 60th minute from a header as Spurs retook the lead. Bergwijn provided the assist.

Lazaro came close to getting the equaliser in the 72nd minute as his shot from inside the box found the side of the net.

Kane sealed the match with a third goal in the the 90th minute as he scored a brace to put Spurs 3-1 ahead.

Spurs win guarantees them the hopes for European football qualification.
