Super Eagles of Nigeria forward maestro, Terem Moffi was in action today for French Ligue 1 giant OGC Nice in their 34th league game of the current campaign against Rennes at the Allianz Riviera.
The 23 year old Nigerian international and Lorient loan star was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI line-up following his outstanding performance for the team in their previous game, and he was able to deliver at the optimal level.
Terem Moffi in the whole 90 minutes duration of the game was a big threat for the host at the heart of the attacking line where he used his vast experience to create a couple of chances in the opposition box, thereby got directly involved in on his teams two goals courtesy of the second goal in the three-goal thriller.
The first half of the game was such a balanced one between the two sides as there was nothing separating them going into the half time break which ended goalless draw.
The host in the 50th minute of the game in the second half were able to get the score sheet opened with a goal from Gaetan Laborde to make it one nil, before Terem Moffi got the lead doubled for the host to make it two nil.
The visitor in the 78th minute of the game were able to get the deficit reduced as they put one back with a goal from Benjamin Bourigeaud which ended the game two goals to one at full time.
Terem Moffi with his only goal of the game will be hoping to keep his impressive goal scoring form going for his team in their next game, as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
