The president of the 9th Senate, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan today shared pictures of himself kicking football as he kicks off the final match of an ongoing football tournament between Bade Academy Football Club and Nguru B Football Club at his native state, Yobe state.
According to the pictures, the Astute Politician was not wearing a sports wear but was seen wearing Babariga with a Cap to match. Babariga is a native attire commonly adorned by the Northern Nigeria tribes.
During the the kickoff of the tournament, ex super eagle players like Daniel Amokachi who is popularly called "The Bull" and ex Super Eagles pacy Winger Tijani Babangida were present at the occasion on their sports attire.
According to the post shared by the Senator on his official Facebook Page, Senator Ahmad Lawan said that the reason for attending the football match with Babariga was due to his busy schedule.
