The third pre-season match will take place at Old Trafford, with Manchester United entertaining Brentford. Brentford will play in the Premier League after winning the play-offs, thus the encounter between the two sides will be exciting.
The Red Devils have met Derby County and Queens Park Rangers so far, winning 2-1 against Derby and succumbing 4-2 to a Championship team in the second encounter.
In the first two pre-season fixtures, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had to deploy a young team with few first-team players. Because the Red Devils' international players have yet to resume for training, this could be the case once more on Wednesday night.
Tahith Chong has joined Birmingham City on loan and will not feature in Wednesday's fixture. Alex Telles, the left-back, has been injured and will miss the first few weeks of the season. In the meantime, Diogo Dalot and Donny van de Beek have returned to training and could play against Brentford.
Here's The Expected Manchester United XI to face Brentford. : Heaton, William, Mengi, Tuanzebe, Wan-Bissaka, Matic, Garner, James, Lingard, Mata Greenwood.
