UCL: 2 Teams That May Be Eliminated If They Fail To Win In Today's Match

The 2021/2022 UEFA Champions League continues this midweek as European top teams fight for the prestigious trophy. Eight (8) matches will be played on Wednesday night and some teams are at the risk of getting eliminated if they lose today. 


On Wednesday, three teams could crash out of the UEFA Champions League if they fail to win their match.


1. RB Leipzig:

RB Leipzig is currently bottom of the group A table ahead of their clash against Paris Saint-Germain. RB Leipzig is yet to register a single point in the competition and are at the risk of early elimination if they fail to win PSG in Germany today.

RB Leipzig will host PSG in Germany today and needs three points to keep their chances of qualifying for the next round on board.

2. AC Milan:

AC Milan is one loss away from getting eliminated from this season's Champions League competition. AC Milan will host Porto at the San Siro in Italy today and must do anything in their power to beat Porto to avoid early elimination.

AC Milan is currently at bottom of the Group B table without a single point and needs to win their last two matches to stay alive in the competition. A win for AC Milan today could save them from getting eliminated and further boost their chances of making it into the knockout stage

3. Besiktas:

Besiktas is one defeat away from getting eliminated from the Champions League competition. The Turkish giant will take on Sporting Lisbon in Portugal tonight and desperately need to take all the three points to keep their hope of qualifying for the next round alive.

Besiktas is currently at bottom of the Group C table with zero points after losing their first three matches and needs to win today's match to remain in the competition.
