The much waiter FA Emirates Cup between Manchester United and London side, Chelsea ended in a dramatic fashion. The blues trashed their opponents 3:1 to book a place in the final against another London side, Arsenal..
Chelsea immediately started their dominance in the game in the opening stages, retaining possession each time they lost the ball. They deservedly scored their first goal of the encounter after former Arsenal player, Olivier Giroud scored from close range after a perfect cross from Chelsea captain, Azpillicueta in the 45th minutes to end the first half on the lead.
The second goal came just a minute after the second half began after Mason Mount capitalized an error from Williams to fire home.
United found themselves in more mess after their captain, Harry Maguire scored in his own net in the 74 minutes. Manchester United however, scored a consolation goal through Bruno Fernandes who converted a penalty but that served as a mere consolation.
