The Blues are reportedly close to finalising personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
Despite having already agreed deals for Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, The Blues boss Frank Lampard remains determined to secure the signature for highly-regarded Kai Havertz.
Although the 2 clubs are yet to reach an agreement over a price, The Athletic claims that there are no such problem regarding personal terms.
The report says that Kai Havertz is in favour of a move to Stamford Bridge, aware that Chelsea are the only team willing to meet Leverkusen's demands.
While Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have been credited with the German in the past, none of those clubs have any intention of offering in excess of £70m.
Kai Havertz netted 12 goals and six assists from 30 outings in the Bundesliga last campaign.
