The best Manchester United goal scorers this season

Unlike the other articles, this is not going to be a list of players. It will be about how Manchester United's attackers have been lethal in front of goal this season and the statistics surrounding those numbers.

The obvious person to start with is Anthony Martial who has been ruled out of the season due to injury. He has not really scored any important goals so far with 4 in the league, 1 in the English football league Cup and just two in the Champions League. But Edison Cavani has completely taken over the Frenchman's responsibilities in front of goal.

The Uruguayan has scored 9 goals so far in the Premier League with 5 of them as a substitute. He and Bruno Fernandes are the club's top scorers in the Europa League with 5 goals. Cavani has the highest scoring frequency in minutes for the club in the league. This means that he scores a goal every 130 minutes but is followed closely by Fernandes who bags one in every 171 minutes.

It is so much more different in the Europa League. Cavani scores after every 49 minutes which is almost outlandish and he is trailed by 18 year old Amad Diallo who gets one after every 97 minutes before Bruno Fernandes in 125 minutes.

Marcus Rashford has scored 20 goals so far this season and 10 of them have come from the Premier League. The winger has been in lethal form but has adapted his playing style so he does not get as many goals anymore.

Who are your favourite goal scorers for the club?
