Four fixtures were played in the English Premier League today, as we got to see West Ham United fall to a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Brentford FC at the London Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur were also active in the Premier League today as they grabbed their fourth league win of the season by defeating Aston Villa 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur.
While the most anticipated fixture in the Premier League this week between Liverpool and Manchester City ended in an eventful 2-2 draw at the Anfield Stadium. Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden all got on the scoresheet to grab a point for their teams in the fixture.
Manchester City should have easily won the fixture today at the Anfield Stadium but once again the Pep Guardiola side failed to be clinical with their chances, as they eventually had to settle for a point away from home.
