IGBO KWENU: Meet The First African Woman To Buy And Own A Football Club In Europe, She's Igbo.

What a man can do, a woman can do better. This is an old saying which all African women especially Nigerian women has Always strived to uphold in order to maintain stern gender equality.

A Nigerian woman, igbo to be precise just broke an African record, and shot herself to the pinnacle of History, by becoming the first ever African Woman to buy and own a football club in Europe, Portugal to be precise.

In a big announcement made by the reputable igbo represented Twitter page, with the handle @IgboHistoFacts, the revealed that the Business woman with the name Mrs Nneka Ede Just sealed a deal of 100% Ownership over a 108 yearl old football club in Portugal, the name of the club is said to be 'Lusitano Ginásio' in a mega deal, with the price tag undisclosed.

In their exact words they tweeted as this:

"An Igbo woman, Mrs. Nneka Ede becomes the first African woman to buy an European Football Club, named Lusitano Ginásio in Portugal.

She secured the 100% ownership of the 108-years old football club for an undisclosed amount.

This is huge! "

This is a big new for Africa, Nigeria and most especially the Igbo community, we hope to more of our women doing great thing within and beyond the shores of this country.
