Italy Creates Record After Insigne Scored 3rd Goal Against Turkey

The UEFA European Championship known as the EUROS kicked off in the Italian capital Rome, as Italy faced Turkey.

Italy looked more determined to win the game as they started on the front foot, in a game they maintained more of the possession all through the game, though the first half ended with the scores at 0-0, Italy looked more promising to win.

Early in the second half, Juventus defender Demiral turned home Berrardi's cross to score the opening goal of the competition which was an own goal, and Ciro Immobile added the second, before Insigne scored the 3rd to secure a 3-0 Opening day win for Italy. With this win Italy created a first time record of scoring more than two goals in their Euros history, and the 3-0 win becomes the highest scored in an opening match of the European Championship.

With Italy having one of their best performances of recent time, and having a balanced team of experience and young talent, they look set to win their first major trophy in 15 years after winning the 2006 World Cup.
