Mason Mount opens up on his goal vs United: 'It was maybe a bit fortunate to see it go in'

Mount scored the second goal of the game.

Making sure about a best four spot will resemble another last for the Blues, Mason says.

"You generally need to turn up in defining moments and I figured we did that today," goalscorer Mason Mount told BBC after the 1-3 win at Wembley.

"We came in with additional inspiration and it will be a monstrous last for us - we need to win trophies.

"[With the second goal,] I attempted to get it on track, anything can occur. It was perhaps somewhat lucky to see it go in, it gave us space to communicate more. I generally need to score goals and make helps - it hasn't occurred for some time however you're continually hoping to influence the game in various regions.

"The gaffer just said we have two huge finals before we're here once more. We need that outlook to attempt to make sure about the best four."

Chelsea will currently confront Arsenal in the FA Cup final.
