Nigerian youngster Marvin Akinlabi Park was superb for Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid football club of Spain on Tuesday night, as they defeated Pepe Bordalas led Getafe FC 2-0 at Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium in their outstanding Laliga game.
Marvin Akinlabi who was born to Nigerian father by Japanese mother in Spain was given his full debut by coach Zinedine Zidane, and he was able to impress, as he played a vital role in his team's 2-0 victory.
The youngster started in the attacking Midfield for the home team alongside Marco Asensio and Vinicius Junior, and the trio were exceptional for the Spanish Laliga Santander champions.
After playing out a goalless draw in the first half, French star Karim Benzema opened scoring for the home team in the 60th minutes, after receiving an assist from Vinicius Junior, before Ferland Mendy doubled the lead in the 66th minutes via an assist from Marcelo, as the match ended 2-0 in favour of Zinedine Zidane's men.
Marvin Akinlabi Park was outstanding for the home team in the game, and his excellent performance made him to last the whole duration on the pitch.
The 2-0 victory over Getafe FC has now taken Real Madrid to the second spot in the Spanish Laliga Santander table with 46th points from 22 matches played.
