PL Table After Liverpool Drew 3-3, Chelsea Lost At Stamford Bridge & Man Utd lost At Old Trafford

Saturday's fixtures of the PL Matchday six kicked off with Chelsea and Manchester City going head to head once again at Stamford Bridge. This was Pep's fourth time facing a side that hurt them three times last season including a very painful Champions League final.

They meet again this season and tensions are high for City, for Pep Guardiola who is yet to beat Chelsea under Tuchel's management. However, a revenging Guardiola got his sweet revenge against Tuchel as he dominantly won at Stamford bridge 1-0 to take City 2nd on the League table.

Manchester United hosted Aston Villa simultaneously at the same time Chelsea faced Man City. The Red Devils were looking to continue their unbeaten run, stretching it to a sixth game this season with a win over Villa at the Theatre of Dreams.

As expected, United pressed for a goal in the first half, dominating and controlling the game, but they could not find a way past Villa's tight defensive line or probably were not creative enough to break down their defence.

However, with all the chances created and shots taken by Man United, it was a late header from Defender Hause that gave Villa the lead. United were gifted a penalty at stoppage time and Bruno Fernandes failed to convert for the second time ever in his Man United career.

Man United now sit below Chelsea and Man City in fourth place. Meanwhile, Liverpool paid visit to Brentford Community Stadium in the last match of Saturday's fixtures and they were looking to secure all three points so as to steer clear of City, United and Chelsea who all sit on 13 points each.

Unfortunately, an organised Brentford kept them at bay as they held them to a 3-3 draw, sharing a point each, but just enough to keep them at the top for the next EPL weekend.
