Andrey Arshavin arrived at Arsenal in 2009 from Zenith St Petersburg, and he won over so many hearts with his blistering pace and an eye for goal he quickly became popular.
Arshavin started his career at Zenith in Russia, and he played consistently for the Russian giants for 10years {1999-2009}.
After his performances at the UEFA CUP and also at the 2008 Euros, he caught the eyes of so many European teams including Barcelona, but their 15million Euro offer was turned down by Zenith.
He signed for Arsenal on transfer deadline day in January 2009, and his first Arsenal Goal came against Blackburn Rovers in

He left Arsenal on loan in 2012 back to his former team Zenith, and the move was made permanent in 2013.
He later went on to play for Kuban Krasnodar and Kairat in Kazakhstan.
He confirmed his retirement on December 3, 2018.
