Diogo Jota returned to the Starting Lineup for Liverpool today when they travelled to face Brentford at the Brentford community stadium on Saturday evening. The Portuguese International was in brilliant form in the Premier League today as he scored a goal in Liverpool's disappointing 3-3 draw against Brentford.
Brentford took the lead in the 27th minute of the game as Ethan Pinnock converted brilliantly from Ivan Toney's pass to make the scoreline 1-0 in favour of the Bees. Diogo Jota got Liverpool the equaliser before halftime as he headed the ball brilliantly into the net to make the scoreline 1-1 in the first half.
Liverpool took the lead for the first time in the game as Mohammed Salah netted their second goal of the match to make the scoreline 2-1 in favour of the Reds.
Brentford proved really stubborn in the match as they got the equaliser in the 63rd minute through a lovely effort from Vitaly Janelt. Both sides still scored in the match as further goals from Cutis Jones and Yoane Wisse made the full-time scoreline a dramatic 3-3 draw.
Diogo Jota was one of Liverpool's best players in today's match as he displayed an outstanding performance against Brentford. The Portuguese Forward won the man of the match award today as he was rewarded for his brilliant performance today.
