European and Spanish giants, Real Madrid football club has suffered a very major injury set back in her quest for a first Champions League trophy since Christiano Ronaldo left the club. The most successful team in the Champions League, Real Madrid, were drawn with European Royalty, Liverpool Football Club in the Quarter Finals of this years competition.
With the quarter finals just 5 days away, Real Madrid Football Club have today announced that they will be without Captain, Sergio Ramos for the 2 legs of the tie with the first leg scheduled to hold on April 6. Apart from the huge role played by Ramos in organising the clubs defense, he has been a great leader of the squad and it will be indeed interesting to see how well they will perform without him in the an important quarter final clash against Liverpool Football Club, who are also without their captain; Jordan Henderson, also out due to injury.
According to an official publication put out by the club, Ramos was said to have suffered from a muscle injury in the internal twin of his left leg and is expected to miss the 2 legs of Madrid's clash with Liverpool
