Check out Barcelona stats so far in 2021/2022 season

At the beginning of this new season, Barcelona were among the favorites to win the Laliga title but things have changed. The club are currently struggling both in the UEFA Champions league and the Laliga. Barcelona were expected to compete for different titles this season after losing the Laliga title to Atletico Madrid in the previous season. The Catalan club are now facing their worst moments so far this season after suffering from multiple defeats without scoring a single goal against their opponents.

Barcelona was highly impressive in their first Laliga match of the season defeating Real Socieded 4-2. The Blaugrana also won most of their pre-season matches before the start of this new season.

Barcelona were later held to 1-1 draw by Athletic club but later emerged victorious in their following match. The Catalan club secured a 2-1 victory over Getafe in the Laliga.

Barcelona worst moment started during their UEFA Champions league clash with Bayern Munich. The Blaugrana failed to register a single shot on target against the Bundesliga giants and conceded 3 goals. Robert Lewandowski scored a brace and Thomas Muller scored a brilliant goal for his side. Barcelona lost the match even though they featured some of the best players in their squad against Bayern Munich.

The Blaugrana were held to a 1-1 draw by Granada and was also held to a draw by Cadiz. Barcelona later managed to defeat Levante 3-0 in their following Laliga match.

Ansu Fati made his return during the match between Barcelona and Levante. He also scored a brilliant goal in the late minutes of the game and was named the man of the match. Fans were highly impressed with Ansu Fati's performance in his first match of the season.

Barcelona later faced Benfica in their second UEFA Champions league match this season. They lost 3-0 to Benfica without scoring a single goal. Ansu Fati was substituted in at the half time but he was not able to find the back of the net against Benfica. Barcelona are at the bottom of their group in the UEFA Champions league.

Atletico Madrid was able to defeat Barcelona 2-0 after goals from Luiz Suarez and Lemar secured a win for Diego Simeone. Gerard Pique admitted the club is suffering greatly and even if the team played for three hours, they won't be able to score a single goal.
