Solskjaer is still backed by Man United
Manchester United are not getting the results they want despite spending big in the summer. This has put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's position as the club's manager in doubt and there is a list of managers that are in line to take his place.
But Solskjaer may not be sacked any time soon following a report that the club's board is backing the 48-year old. Although the club is unhappy with recent poor results, they are still hopeful that things can change in the coming weeks and Solskjaer can eventually turn things around.

Why Chelsea couldn't sign Kounde
Jules Kounde was thought to be on his way to Chelsea when the club sold Kurt Zouma to West Ham in the last transfer window. Somehow, the move wouldn't materialize as Kounde remained in Spain. Sevilla director, Monchi, has now revealed why the move couldn't happen.
Monchi confirmed that Chelsea submitted a bid to sign the defender which was the most significant Sevilla have received for a player. Yet the bid wasn't convincing enough as it didn't meet their demands, and it also came in at an inconvenient time.

Arsenal and Real Madrid may trade their star players
Arsenal and Real Madrid may negotiate a swap deal in the January transfer window. This deal could involved Andre Lacazette and Gareth Bale.
