Valencia hosted Athletico Bilbao at the Estadio Mestalla in what looked to be an intense game of football. Both sides picked up a point from their today's encounter after playing a 1-1 draw courtesy of goals from Marcos Andre and Inigo Martinez.
Sevilla comfortably defeated Newcomers Espanyol 2-0 at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan thanks to goals from Rafa Mir and Youssef En-Nesyri.
Real Madrid hosted Villareal at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in what seemed to be the final La Liga fixture of today. Both sides played brilliant football but couldn't secure maximum points as they settled for a disappointing goalless draw.
