FIFA RANKINGS: The Nigeria Super Eagles Got Dropped By Two Positions In The Recent FIFA Rankings.

In the latest FIFA men's rankings for October, Nigeria has fallen two positions.

The Super Eagles, who were placed 34th in the world in September's list, have slid 14 places to 36th.

The Eagles' dip in the rankings was partly due to their 1-0 home loss to the Central African Republic earlier this month in their 2022 World Cup qualifier.

Gernot Rohr's side would go on to win the second game of their doubleheader 2-0, but it wasn't enough to keep them from falling out of the rankings.

However, the three-time African champions remain Africa's fifth-best squad, with Senegal remaining the continent's top team and ranking 20th in the globe. They are followed by Tunisia in the second position, which has slid from one place to the 27th in the globe.

Morocco has climbed to third place in Africa, ahead of African champions Algeria, with Nigeria rounding out the top five.

Despite losing two matches in the UEFA Nations League, Belgium remains the top-ranked team in the world.

Brazil is in second place, with France outclassing England to take third place. Italy has climbed one place to fourth place, while the Three Lions complete the top five.
