During last summer's transfer window, Chelsea's transfer chief, Marina Granovskaia made huge efforts to bring in the players that will help Chelsea's squad become strengthened for this season's campaign. Having already completed the signing of Saul Niguez on a season long loan and Romelu Lukaku who have not failed to improve Chelsea's attack. The blues also completed some businesses that saw them earn over £125 million from the sale of their players.

The likes of Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori, Victor Moses, Zappacosta and many others were all shown the exit door from Stamford Bridge. Be it as it may, the January transfer window is fast approaching and the blues will be hoping to finish some uncompleted deals this winter.

For the past few months, Rudiger's contract have been a source of headache to many Chelsea as the German defender have been delaying his contract talks owing to the fact that no agreement have been reached between the club and the player. Be it as it may, Rudiger have made known his intentions about his future at Stamford bridge. Here is what the defender said; "I feel good where I am now. So that fits." When he was asked about his thoughts on interest of Bayern and Real Madrid, he also replied thus; "The interest honors me. That shows that I've done a few things right recently,"

The truth of the matter is that no one can really say what will happen when the transfer window and that is why Marina will have to make her transfer plans very plain and simple in case Rudiger decides to join Bayern or even Real Madrid this January. Chelsea are currently keeping tabs on the likes of De Ligt and Joules Kounde as the possible replacement of Rudiger.
