Super Eagles of Nigeria defender, Chidozie Awaziem was in action for Alanyaspor on Sunday night in their 5th league game of the Turkish Super Lig against Galatasaray at the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleski Turk.
The Nigerian star was handed his second debut for the club since his arrival at the club in the deadline day of the last summer transfer window.
The former Boavista star played the whole 90 minutes duration of the game following his incredible performance in their last game where he was able to net the winner for his new team, which was the only goal that separated the two sides at full time.
Chidozie Awaziem was yet again solid at the defence line as he guided the team to another clean sheet with his top notch delivery which keeps them going in the competition.
The first half of the game was such a balanced one in the first half as there was nothing to separate the two sides going into the half time break which ended goalless draw.
The tempo got more intensed in the second half of the game as they both displayed some dazzling skills but none was able to break the deadlock until the 87th minutes when Daniel Candelas put the visitor ahead to make it one nil at full time.
The win for Alanyaspor in the game has now taken them to the 8th spot on the table with 9 points in 5 games played as they will be looking forward to continuing the winning streaks in their next fixture, so as to keep their pursuit going in the competition.
