The men's and women's Champions League finals have been postponed

European football's governing body UEFA postponed three ma

jor European finals over the coronavirus pandemic, according to a statement on Monday.

UEFA have issued a statement announcing that the finals of these two competitions, together with the Europa League, will be played on a new, yet to be decided, date is still unknown.

The men's and women's Champions League finals, along with the Europa League, will not be played in May as originally planned, but will take place on a new, yet to be decided, date. This was announced via a UEFA statement this Monday afternoon, setting out that all of those competitions are postponed due to the effects of Covid-19. UEFA Women’s Champions League Final, UEFA Europa League Final, UEFA Champions League Final are prosponded and will be further more descide the date for it.

Stating that no decision was made on new schedules, the UEFA said a newly-established working group has “begun its examination of the calendar.”

“Announcements will be made in due course,” it said.

Once they resume, the Champions League final will be held at the Ataturk Olimpiyat in Istanbul and the Women's Champions League final at Viola Park in Vienna.
