Manchester United lose 1 - 0 to Aston Villa.

Kortney Hauser's header was the only goal in Aston Villa's 1 - 0 victory over Manchester United at old Trafford with Bruno Fernandes missing a penalty.

Bruno Fernandes has admitted that he was frustrated and so disappointed with his penalty miss in the late stages of Saturday's defeat to Aston Villa.

Manchester United were really poor throughout the fixture, looking incoherent under so much pressure from an inspired Villa side. Dean Smith's men took the lead in the 88th minute with a header from defender Kortney Hause.

There was VAR controversy with the goal, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggesting it should not have stood because Villa striker, Ollie Watkins was interfering in the view and movement of David Gea.

Some sections of the United support were disappointed that Solskjaer did not call for Cristiano Ronaldo to take the Penalty, because of his extraordinary record of scoring in important moments.

However, the recent failure of Fernandez, will surely be an interesting on-field debate to decide who will take United's next spot-kick.
